What's your (attainable) dream garage? How are you doing on it? What's on your list that you already own/ have driven?

BMW 740I
Could probably afford them if I sold all my cars and took a small low interest loan.

(But as the Asuna Sunfire, I just couldn’t find a good enough picture on GIS.)
And how am I doing on it? Well, I don’t even have a license yet. GOOD ENOUGH.
I do want to get an Outback when I get my license, however.

the attainable garage is in full swing. its got all kinds of fun junk from chevrolet. its a battle to keep rounding up parts to work on the stuff. trucks mostly. the one in the works at the moment is a squarebody v8 4x4 shortbed with a manual. took FOREVER to round one up.

The V90 is all the good things about 80's Volvo with a bit more 90 style. I can dig it. Also an inline 6.

Day to day in the Michigan winter, the SHO is probably the better car. Plus a simple ECU flash bumps the SHO up to 435 hp and 440 ft/lbs

It constantly and consistently changes, but here goes:
Alfa 156 V6 (my first proper car. I’ll likely keep it til it disintegrates, then swap all the non-disintegrated bits to a new shell and keep driving)
Jaguar XJ40 4.0l manual (own it!)
Citroen BX (own it!)
Maserati Biturbo (my dad has a 228 and a 430, but I’d quite like a SWB early car with a 2.8l later injected engine)
Triumph Spitfire I6 swap (own it!)
Triumph Spitfire 1850 slant-4 swap (I’ve got a seized engine, a clutch, a rebuild gearbox and a galvanised chassis. It’s a start!)
Triumph GT6 Sprint 16v swap (errr, there’s a guy on eBay breaking a TR7 who will send me the gearbox once it’s out...)
Triumph TR6 with a Rover 2600 I6 (I’ve got the Rover I6!)
Triumph Stag with a breathed on 3.0l/3.3l V8 (nowhere near)
Jaguar XJS 4.0l manual running ITBs to make an M3-fighter (I’ve got the 4.0l engine!)
Rover SD1, poss Jag IRS swap, poss P6 DeDion rear (nowhere near)
MGB GT V8 Baja (I’ve got a spare Jag IRS for the back and a Subaru R160 for the front of the proposed AWD system)
Fiat X1/9 (had one, tree fell on it, looking for another)
Lancia Fulvia Coupe (should have bought one years ago for £1500, now they’re closer to £15,000)
Lada Niva (own it but it’s a heap!)
Alfa Alfetta saloon with a 3.0l Arese V6 (nowhere near)

Fair enough. I test drove the SHO before I bought my V-Sport, and I was very underwhelmed. But I generally don’t care for AWD.
